I had a great experience with the Screenplay Festival. On the award notification date, I received an email telling me that the judges loved my screenplay and that I had been awarded a Finalist. It felt like a personalized email and I really appreciated it. Also, they invited all the finalists to an awards ceremony in LA. My wife and I attended and had a great time. It was a lot of fun to meet the other writers, network, and celebrate everyone’s work together. They gave me and everyone else who won an honorable mention award a plaque and took photos of the award winners. Screenplay Festival really went the extra mile to celebrate the writers. I definitely recommend submitting to this contest. It was overall one of the best experiences I’ve had yet.
