SCREENPLAY FESTIVAL

Discovering great writers since 2002

Enter The Contest

The Screenplay Festival judges have been working their way through all of the great scripts that were sent in last year, and they are closer to being able to announce the Finalists for the 2010 contest. We had hoped to make this announcement by the end of March, but it appears that it will have to wait until later in April. We promise to keep everyone up-to-date on this, and when we do have Finalists to announce, every Semi-Finalist will receive an email informing them if they did or did not move into the next round. Best of luck to all of the writers and we will keep reading as fast as we can!

Luke Guidici is managing the Emerging Filmmakers Program at Hollywood Shorts. He is overseeing a focused search for great feature length screenplays for a handful of their top directors, and has requested a look at the scripts discovered through Screenplay Festival.  Luke will soon have log lines from many of our Grand Prize and Honorable Mention winners.  We wish Luke and our writers the best!

Yet another reason that past winners at Screenplay Festival should keep us up-to-date with their contact information.
